2021 Online Dating In your 30's
Online dating has always been difficult, not easy at all if I must say so myself.
We have to separate too far from reality with these profile pictures and charming words that are on the screen in front of our faces to try and find a man. There's the creepers, the ones with no profile picture, and the ones who are total jerks with their passive and aggressive attitudes. And don't get me started on the profiles who think they are God's gift to women! Girl when I tell you I have talked to them all I mean I have spoken to them all, white, black, Asian, Puerto Rican, plus more and it grows obvious with every conversation that dating in 2021 and especially online is BLAH! Just gross!
Did I mention I'm in my 30's and have tried dating online (Keyword tried) Lol, yea girl facts I'm in my 30's and as sad as it is to admit I have entertained some of the goofiest men on the weirdest apps hoping to find a real connection with someone and it hasn't been easy, but though it's not easy, and all apps aren't good ones, there are some apps that are acceptable and not bad at all and I want to share my list on the apps I have found to be most useful when searching for love online!

But now it's the time to jump into the do's and don't of dating apps! And let me tell ya it's a lot of don't-s depending on what you're looking for <side*eye> But do you boo lol
Dating app do # 1
Bumble, if you haven't used this app you should definitely try it. Bumble is an app that lets women go first, and 4real it felt a little weird @ first and out of my comfort zone because I got so used to men swiping right on me first and me waiting for a message. But Bumble puts the ball in the woman's court and I love it!
They can't send you any weird creepy messages unless you say something first and no not all the men up there is a Idris Elba or Chris Hemsworth but Girrrlllll it's some good catches who actually have some sense :)
Dating app don't- Badoo. I don't think the original design for this app was to be like a hookup thing but maybe I'm wrong. Everybody on the right, left and between on that app just wants a fling, and if that's not you stay far away. Fair Warning!
Dating app do- WooPlus is a user-friendly dating app for curvy, beautiful women with men on there who don't make what you do or don't look like the main focus of them finding love or even liking you. Another reason I really like this app is that it doesn't put you in a bubble to find love by that I mean you're not constricted to just your area and with that, you can find great conversation and possibly your mate outside of your area code.
And now for an in-between- Plenty Of Fish also famously known as POF and if you know the story between my kid's father and I the website where I met my ex-husband lol
Anyway...
POF is like going into a discounted store where you find the MK bag that you absolutely have been wanting but it's sold out online and so you find it at a discount and say to your self your gonna come back the next day to get it but when you go back it's gone AGH!
Long scenario I know but facts lol! POF is a serious hit or miss. All I'm saying is gamble at your own risk. LMBO! He may be there one day sis and gone the next, and not to mention it's a bunch of phony bolognas who like to try and scam women, so please be very careful. It is a good app however if you want to save money and have conversations without having to pay.
Facebook dating is an absolute do, it's men that are local and they have Facebook pages, not to mention it's totally free and you can only use it if you already have the FB app which means more phone storage for you and no need to download another scam artist dating trap lol. It can be worth the time setting it up to meet a good guy
