Creating a Learning Board!

I've always considered possibly homeschooling my children, I mean the thought has crossed my mind a lot of times because I always thought who could be a better teacher than their mommy. I had always heard about how much of a commitment it is and can be stressful and they were right. SO RIGHT! I know many of us parents have been struggling to try to make sure our kids are still learning during COVID-19 and we're feeding not only their little tummies but their minds too. But the homeschool struggle is real!

Royce and Gabrielle do most of their schooling online, and their teachers mail packets for them to also do, which helps us a ton so that they stay on track! Though I'm very grateful to have my kids attend such a great school with an attentive staff who try to meet every need there's still not much for Pre-k to do especially for online learning. But thanks to Pinterest and the Dollar Tree I was able to create my little one (Jeremiah) a learning board and it doesn't cover everything but helps to have during our time with homeschooling, you can create a learning board not only for Pre-K but all grades and design it to fit the personal need of your child. I started with a piece of folded cardboard I brought form the Dollar Tree, the blue sticker letters I also brought from the Dollar Tree but some time ago. If they don't have that exact design, the store should have many other options to choose from.

The letters I have are paper, but you could find a card stock material at your local craft store or Walmart! You could also print or design your own freehand!

His left hand was a little funky! Lol!

But over all he loved it!

The little monster spins around to give him

different words to learn!

I added a coloring and sticker book to the top, so after he's completed all his learning on the board he can pick out and color any page after he's done!

A lot of us parents are new to this experience, but I truly hope this gave you all some inspiration and can help ease your worries a bit while homeschooling!
