Planning that works!

Well hello, friend! I hope you are having a fantastic day and crushing every goal you set out to complete on your day! YES EVEN DURING COVID! If you're following me on any social media platform then you know I have been working day and night, in and out on so many projects, and cannot stop coming up with more things to do! My creative tinker is always tinking, yea that's right tinking on new things to do, start, read, or invest in and I absolutely love that I was blessed to be such a creative, ambitious person, and to share it with others is really awesome! But if I'm being honest sometimes I bite off more then I can chew and get so overwhelmed that I start to become less interested in what I have to and want to complete, and I just can't stand starting projects and not finishing them because of feeling overwhelmed.

If it were up to me everything that I'm working on and want to do would all be completed by my Echo Dot while I just sit and watch all my dreams come true with very little work and effort put in, but yea no it's not like that at all! Lol! And because it's not always that easy we have to come up with a plan that will help us manage and, take on our task so that we can complete them without feeling too much stress, worries, and woes! In this post, I would like to share a few ideas that help me to stay on track and complete activities without being to swamped by trying to do everything in one day. Because it is impossible to do everything we need to do in one day while being mommy, dad, teacher, friend, cook, doctor, and everything in-between. For our minds mentally and body physically it just can't happen even if you tried because it could cause a lot of health issues from weight gain/or extreme weight loss, headaches, loss of sleep and so much more; I love what I do but my health and sanity come first, but with proper planning, it can come first and also keep us on track with work.

Girl grab your bottle of water, turn on some motivation music, and lets plan!

There are so many methods of planning and ideas to research when finding a way of planning that works for you; I'm going to give you a few things that work for me but with Google, you can find so many other ways that could help you and fit your lifestyle!

  1. The kanban planning system I've learned while being in college and is by far one of my most used ways of planning. Doing the kanban method is very effective when done right and works really well when getting things done around my house and even with the kids because it is very easy to manage. Kanban planning is a visual board that allows you to see what has to be done, your doing and what's finished. Watch the video below on how to do the kanban method of planning!

2. Buy a planner girl! It can help you out a ton especially if your a working mom, small business owner, stay at home mom it doesn't matter your job title, a planner can be a great way of keeping track of your day to day activities. There are so many planners out that can fit any budget, cute stickers to decorate them with as extra reminders, to make your planner more you and exciting! I brought my planner and sticker book from Walmart!

You can also use a weekly to-do note pad instead of buying a yearly planner! You can find a weekly to-do list almost at any store that has a home and office aisle!

3. Last but not least set reminders, timers, and alarms on your phone, watch, or smart speakers if you have one. I brought two Echo Dots from Amazon that I absolutely love, and they can do so much from playing music to adding goods to your Amazon shopping cart to making and reminding you of plans plus so much more. All you have to do is say Alexa reminds me to start dinner at 6 pm and she is on the job! We carry our phones with us almost everywhere so you can also set reminders on your phone for the same thing or other tasks you have to complete. There are so many other smart devices or just a regular ol alarm clock that can also help you stay on track! Check the link for the Echo Dot!
