Hi Friends & Happy Sunday!

I surely do hope that you all are having a blessed and wonderful Sunday and staying safe!

In Jesus's name! This weekend I decided to sort of take a break and not do much as far as social media goes for many reasons a few of those being I'm babysitting which keeps me extremely busy, I needed time to edit videos, and I just kind of needed a recharge and break from all that's going on and being plastered across social media!

And so I thought why not have a lazy not so lazy weekend lol!


Yup Lazy but not so lazy weekend lol!

I've been so busy trying to make so many different things happen, write a second book, be a Scentsy Consultant, and deal with all the woes of the world that I had not taken out much time at all for myself, and sure I can relax a little when the kids go to bed but honestly by the time they do and I lay down to watch a movie or binge-watch a show I am exhausted and extremely tired. All I can do is think about curling up with my fan on full blast and yet for some strange reason under a blanket lol & going to bed! But every night when I lay down I always think of how I can try to fit some time in for myself and when the next day comes I never do but now I am learning about intentional self-care! And that my friends are what today's blog is about!

Yes, self-care girl or man! Lol!

Taking time out for you intentionally, and rather if you're parent, have a strenuous job, or even just stressing out with everything happening in the world it is very important to take care of your self and treat your self! WIth my own personal experience I have always taken care of other people, kids, or just so wrapped up in life and eventually taking care of myself just became nonexistent to the point where I had forgotten what I liked, and was starting to lose my creative gifts because I wasn't using them and treating myself; I had become dull if you will and dedicated myself completely to other people and things which caused me to completely neglect myself and my needs.




It was not until my marriage ended that I had realized how much I had let myself go and when I realized that I went on a self-discovery road to finding me again and figuring out what I wanted and letting the desires of my heart be clear to myself and God. And friends that was an extremely hard and difficult road to travel down because I was finding myself all over again like a hormonal teenager trying to figure out which group of kids they want to associate with is what my experience was like after my separation.

But that is another post for another day, on this day I wanted to give you all some ideas and motivation to get up, open your curtains and take care of yourself!


Self-care can mean many things for different people, I personally enjoy crafting and being creative with the many different crafts that I can create! But there are also other ways to take care of your self and fill up your glass if you catch my drift.


If you're into beauty maybe you can have a spa day for your self and try that new beauty cream that your favorite beauty YouTubers are raving about!

Though there are not many places we can go right now, you can still explore the world and everything in it that God gave us from visiting a botanical garden, a farm, a petting zoo if allowed or hiking and bike riding so that you are getting some of the natural fresh Vitamin D from the sun while also having a good time and relaxing. I know some of us may not have the option of going to places alone or always doing things without our child/ren and so bike riding and outdoor activities while exploring nature could be a way of relaxing for the whole family to participate in as well!

There are so many ways to treat yourself, renew yourself, create a stress-free activity that can help you live not only for other people or just to pay bills but also for yourself and if you're not sure what you like that's okay just try something new every weekend or day if you want till you find what is you so that you can put away those stresses, worries, and anxieties by renewing your mind, creating or even discovering something new out of you and living a new you for you! I love to craft and so here are a few pictures on how I relax and create something new!
