What's cooking good looking?
I'm not sure about you all but I love to cook! Well, most of the time, maybe just sometimes but anyway because it's a sometimey thing I just get in the mood when thinking about cooking sounds like a horrible idea and I just want to order out, take the credit because at least we ate and relax. But BOOM goes the dynamite also known as a reality check, I mean really let's be honest if I ordered out as much as I didn't want to cook or even thought about it, we the Murchison household would probably be walking no better yet rolling around the house looking like the girl from "Charlie and The Chocolate Factory" ya know when she became a giant blueberry minus the blue part but still you get my point and that's just not okay!
If you're anything like me when it comes to cooking then I have the perfect solution, in fact, it's a kitchen tool that's has been saving and still saving mommies plenty of time since it was invented not to mention when it comes to cooking and feeding your family it makes it a breeze so that your spending less time in the kitchen and more time doing everything else!
Without further ado... DUN, DUN, DUN! Pause for drama....................................................... The crockpot, I mean it is literally almost one of the best ideas since sliced bread! And girl or bro if you don't have one get one, because it saves so much time and gives your family a nice homecooked meal as well.
I absolutely love my crockpot, it's big so it holds a lot, and depending on what you're cooking or how long you want something to cook for there are five settings to choose from when cooking. With a timer, it's helpful to know how much time you have left with the food your cooking and you can always add more time as needed. I got my Crockpot sometime ago from Walmart but I'm almost one-hundred percent sure they still sell it and have more options that are less and more innovative than this one including one that has multi-uses!
Another reason I really like my crockpot is that it locks and for me especially having children although their not so small any more accidents do happen and having a way to lock it on the side just put me at a little more ease knowing that there's not an easy for it to be opened especially when it comes to my youngest critter.
Here I was making Mississippi pot roast which is delicious and one of the household favorite meals to enjoy from the crockpot/slow cooker. In this post, I won't be sharing crockpot recipes however I will be soon in a new one so definitely look out for that because I have a lot of quick, easy recipes to share with you all.
And as you can see by the licking of the fingers, it was a hit and I only spent about 30 minutes in my kitchen cooking the sides, I added the roast in the pot that morning and it cooked throughout the day feeling the house with a savory aroma, that the kids just couldn't wait to dig into!
As always I hope you enjoyed the post and that's what's cooking good looking!
Can't wait to see the recipe page! That pot roast look yummy!
